What's the fun weekend car?! I too test drove an Alfa Giulietta cloverleaf edition and loved the look and power of the car but found the driving position awkward. You'll like the TT too I think. They do drive very well and the finish of the cabin is sublime. However, it is a little cramped and, while I concede that this appears biased, I genuinely believe that the styling falls some way behind that of the RCZ.

Where abouts in the UK are you Dragonlady? I'm in the south east and have never bothered with winter tyres as it doesn't get bad enough but that's just me

I live in Lincolnshire but can be anywhere in the UK with work, in fact Heathrow is my most frequented place at the moment.

Hi Dragonlady,

Welcome to this great forum, I have been running my HDI GT for over a year with it also being chipped, overall I have owned loads of cars and over the long motorway miles the RCZ is a gem, I have been in the same sort of role as yourself doing 2k to 2.5K miles per week, so the car has to look good be comfortable and be an office as well.

On a good run cruising around 75mph (private motorway of course ) I can get around 64 mpg using the cruise control, I love loads of light and my does not have the vision pack so i would say this was a must. I have only had one issue and that was the DPF light coming on but the local dealers Swansway Peugeot in Chester sorted this out first time. Other than that the car has been spot on cannot fault it, if you want to be noticed and have a great comfortable ride that is quiet practicle the RCZ HDI is a good buy

I've ordered mine for work, comes with Bluetoith and I've also opted for the in car Wifi.

My current car is a Peugeot 406 coupe which has been extremely reliable, only ever paid out on tyres, exhausts and brakes.

The boot is huge in the RCZ, you'll be lucky to get a case in a TT...

I didn't have any issues without winter tyres. The conti were fine.
