Guys n Gals,
Please can anyone help!
I have had this horrible shaking from the steering. it is most noticeable when i speed up so say i go over 60mph it is shaking. I have had new tyres fitted and balanced and still no joy, had the rear wheels fitted to front and still no joy.
all wheels were rebalanced, tyre pressures checked. all tyres are conti sport 5.
what do i do now?
Love the car but this is really bugging me!

Hey thanks for the replies.
I have finally got it sorted and after a lot of Headache and who ever owned the car before or the garage that employed the guy to refurb 2 of the wheels!

Basically after changing the brake discs and pads as they were warped the judder was still there.
So i took the car in to STS Pro.
They checked the balancing and found they were 20 grams out on each wheel, so i had them re-balanced.
while he inspected the wheels he found that the NSF wheel innner where it mounts to the hub was smoothed. and he said that this should be completely flat otherwise it will not sit flat against the hub.
so after a test drive on just re-balanicing and an improvement been made but not elimiating the problem completely he said it would be best to take off all 4 wheels inspect all the inner hubs and put the best two on the front of the car.
After a lot of tyre swapping, re-balancing this has cured the problem completely.

Happy to read that there are still professionals who are able to diagnose and cure these problems.
It's not the first time I read that some tyre fitter said the wheel balance was OK but in fact it was way off!
Also it shows that there are also other factors involved and all of these need to be understood.
