......for my winter tyres.....

sticking an advert on Ebay ...that I'll just keep repeating until they're sold!

Vredestein Wintrac Extremes 235x35x19s.....each tyre has still between 6-7mm.....new tyres are 8mm. No patches/damage.

I paid £660 for them and they're currently on mytyres for £590.

I thought about £300 was reasonable???

On or off the rim?

Off Figo. Could be open to reasonable offers for folk off the foum. They really are like new. Garage dependant, its about £50-60 to swap them.
If I could get shot of them before the winter it'll free up space (and contribute to buying) my little diddy MINI ones :)

Steve's also advertising them on the FFRS forum. They're the exact match for the RS. He got £270 for his and they were in a worse state. They're are so many RSs up here, hopefully someone might bite.

Free delivery in the 'shire!!!!! ;)

Yep :)

Pitch the price too high and no-one will want them.

Not sure how much P&P would be though!

Scrap that I was looking for 235/40/19's. Those are a different size to mine. Thanks anyway!

But my summers are 40s too. I was horrified at the prices for 40 winter tyres, so hence why I dropped to 35s. I think 40s (at the time) were something like £220+ each and the 35s were nearer £165. Difference in handling was negligble and because they were smaller they speedo was out 'favourably'. I think I found a website that calculated that 70mph speedo would have been 68mph GPS.

....and although I declared it to the insurance every time I swapped, they just put a note on my file that I used seasonal tyres and even though they were different profile, it cost me nothing as it was classed as a safety enhancement.

I've been offered £250 but I think if I've to meet the geezer with them about 50 miles away, I might push for £275 (for pertrol!). Sound reasonable?

No-one on here after them before I give him an answer?

£275 sounds reasonable to me. When I picked my new alloys up, the guy met me at a Service area. I offered him petrol money but he wouldn't take it. It was very nice of him but I think it's only to be expected to pay a little more if it's going to be costing you petrol to meet him.

Ah, I gotcha...you're referring to mini whereas I'm referring to MINI. I'll admit you're right for a change, whereas I'm never wrang.............
