Thought I would say hi as new to the board. Had my THP156 for about a year now and have added new front lip, lightbrows, 20inch wheels 20/8.5/245 front/ 20/10/275 rears, lowered, de-badged and painted the front bumper and chrome grill.
Quad rear exhaust and induction kit still to get.

Welcome to the forum. :greetings-wavingblue:

Nice car!! Those alloys are like nothing I've ever seen before. They're like a semi deep-dish alloy!! 20" rims are in the minority on here but each to their own!!

Car looks nice. How do you find the ride on those rims? I thought mine was pretty solid on 19's :eusa-think:

Thanks guy's.
@DKZ5745, the ride is a little stiffer than usual but I don't find it that bad at all, car has been in the garage for the last couple of months due to the weather so not had it out either.
I looked into the best body and wheel protection for the winter and after getting the new wheels, decided that the garage and another car to run about in would be the best protection

Wheels are looking good!!!

I think your solution to winter driving is very logical re protecting the car by keeping it in the garage

I washed mine Monday afternoon took it onto the M5 and headed south on Tuesday morning and after 5 miles it was more salt than silver it breaks your heart.... by the time I got to Swindon I swear I could have tapped the front corner then sold the crust that would have come off the car to a company to put in a salt grinder

My Vette last saw light of day in October and its unlikely it will emerge before may when its MOT is Due

Thank you stingray_dave and you're right, it's not nice to spend a lot of time cleaning your pride and joy only to take it out and have it covered in salt and with our ever changing weather we probably spend more time cleaning the car than anything. No doubt you'll be looking forward to getting the vette out soon :)

And thank you mrizzle for the kind words and nice to meet a fellow Scot as well

Oooh how are you finding those 20"s on the West coast roads? 19"s are hard enough I find.

Hi Donna, fortunately I don't use the car as an everyday driver but no doubt as we hopefully get into better weather I'll get it out more but so far it seems fine tbh.

Cheers Neil  been looking for a long time for wheels that were a bit different and these came up and fitted the bill.
