Hello Everyone.
My extremely kind wife bought me a White RCZ HDI as a bribe to retire.
only downside is trading my 307 cabriolet, but this has a much bigger smile factor.
leather seats , no satnav, 65 plate 20K miles, manual
after the 240-300 mile range of the 307 (2.0l petrol auto) it's nice to see a range of 600-700 miles on this one.
love the versatility of the cruise control and speed limiter on these.
Huge boot swallows up the golf clubs and trolley and if I put the seats down I can get the bike in there too.
on which subject is there a boot mount kits to take a bike anyone?
or I suppose I could put a towbar on and use a rear mount frame on the towbar bracket.
anyone know how easy it is to DIY a towbar and electrics?
are there mount points on the frame and plug in units for the electrics?
I'm guessing not on this type of car.

as we get lots of flooding here over the winter where are the engine air intakes on these things and what clearance is there when I drive through the wet bits? wouldn't want to ingest any water through the air intakes if they are low down.

I hesitate to point out the OP’s forum name when asking about fitting Bike holders & towbars to an RCZ :eusa-whistle:

It starts with golf, then it's a bike, and before you know it it's a caravan! It's a slippery slope!!

Hey each to there own, we have already seen a RCZ with a Boot Rack !!

and we are lucky enough that we hardly ever ( exception to Pete - where all the RCZ's live on his estate ) see a RCZ, so with a bit of luck we won't see this either !!

No malice intended Numpty58 - you're welcome to the site !!

No No that's taking things to far 2retro.....

Of course, it’s entirely up to the owner what he does with his Z I have heard that some even have multicolour wrap done :eusa-whistle:

I'd prefer to wrap the caravan. Some sort of urban camouflage perhaps would be best...

There’s a thought, stealth caravans :eusa-think: That way my street wouldn’t look as crap as it does. It’s starting to resemble a branch of Haven Holiday Homes

If it's a bit squidgy down Zummerzet way, then why not a track conversion?
