Hi,

Well we've done it, we've gone for a RCZ 1.6 GT 156 in Mercury. Had a good experience with Toomey's who were very friendly and helpful, we're waiting for the car it'll be a couple of weeks as we're on holiday so no pics at the moment but thought I'd show you the car I'm going from. I never drive it as we have 2 kids and I cycle to work, whoever gets this car in the future will get a lot of car in great condition.

Look forward to joining this community as it seems to buzz like zroadster.net for the ol' z3.

Hello to all

Dave

:text-welcomewave: :happy-wavemulticolor: :text-welcomewave: Well Dave. Enjoy your hols and your new car when you get it. They are a good looking car and great to drive. The handling is superb. Visibility will be a damn sight better too from what you have been used to. I guess the back seats on the RCZ are bigger than you are used to. Most people find that they are rather on the small side. As you appear to be a competitor for our queen of detailing (RCZ1) then I would think that with two kids then seat covers will be an essential requirement, in order not to have feet marks all over the backs of your new leather seats.

Welcome Dave, this is actually my first post! Thought id say hi as im from Leigh-on-sea. Ive ordered mine to, though mine is a 12 to 15 week wait
What specs have you got? Theres a few driving round these parts but i stress the word few. The Mercury grey sitting at Toomey's in Rochford has the full Feline pack on it... LOOKS AMAZING!

Hi Guys,

I'am from Leigh on Sea too!

Had my car a year now and for months did not see another one. Exclusive or what!
Quite a few in the town now though....................!
Still love the look of it and it still has the capacity to make me turn and look at it when I get out and walk away. Not many cars i've had have had that effect after a year of ownership!
No problems with it either.

Enjoy your motors when you get them!

Hello nastro azzuro, nice to meet you :)
Can I ask what spec you've got for your car? Glad you haven't had any problems, you always worry when you spend so much on a car but glad your happy with yours.

Hi all, I guess with all of us around there going to start being a bit more common. Having said that it may not be happening, don't want to say more at the moment but will fill all in if things don't go well.

Thanks for all the hello's, I'm going to go RCZ spotting down the seafront ! hmmm maybe a bit old for that :)

As for seat covers and detailling now we're talking, you can't beat a good drop of polish on your fave car ... or is it, clay,polish1,polish2,filler,glaze,wax,top-up spray finished with where did the weekend go ! Going to look out for tips from RCZ1

Cheers
Dave

My local dealer let me down terribly and after taking money failed to secure the car.

But Marcus and Perry's came to the rescue and have managed to source a car for us exactly what we're after. I was really sad that it looked like we we're going to miss out but Perry's have fixed it all. Can't be happier and I'm vvvv excited.

Cheers Marcus, you're a star !

Deano2004, a meet up sounds like a brilliant idea! Could you imagine all those rcz's lined up on Leigh broadway :D
Only problem is I'm still waiting on my one at least another 6 weeks and it's been 8 already!
Confession followed a White Rcz with quads in hadleigh today... Can't believe I did that haha
But it had to be done! ;) It looked so good!

I don't think I've ever managed to find a space on the broadway, I guess we could arrive at 6am. I can imagine the complaints to toomeys for their promotion blocking up Leigh :)

 let's hope it bounced when it hit the ground !

One thing for sure the level of service I've had from those guys far outstrips that of the local dealer .... 14 days and counting .....

edit: I'm a muppet and can't count
