Hello from a Newbie in Peterborough

Hi everyone,

I finally got my grubby mitts on an RCZ after lusting after one since I first saw them 6 years ago, and it was worth every moment that I dribbled and drooled as soon as I sat in my very own car.
I have an 11 plate 1.6 GT 156 Auto (all that praying for the car knackered my knees so much I had to get an automatic!!)
and can't stop smiling - is it normal to drive slowly past any shop windows so you can admire the reflection??
The only fly in the ointment is the coolant warning light which seems to come on whenever there is an R in the month - I've read quite a few posts on this subject and it seems to be something that happens a lot.

It has been going through more than it should and I have noticed there is a small crack in the lid of the coolant reservoir. Just wondered if this could be causing the excessive coolant usage?? Any opinions or words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated before I tootle down to the local dealership with my baby.

Thanks for reading this epic introduction

The coolant container is pressurised, so a crack I the top will allow coolant to leak out under pressure. There are also noted occurrences of coolant level sensors failing, so it's always possible that this could be part of the problem. I would get the cracked top sorted first, then see how it is :eusa-think:
