Anyone on one at the moment.. I downloaded an app called myfitnesspal and have been tracking my intake and exercise..

few mild changes to habbit and in 6 weeks i've lost 10lbs :eusa-whistle:

Determined to have a honeymoon physique that doesn't look like the office worker that I am.

Back playing football twice a week - badly - and eating a bit less.. tracking your activities really helps!

Noticed the same thing when I was tracking my fuel usage... i used the car less

I'm constantly counting calories, whether it be for losing fat or gaining weight.

MFP is a good resource to use, but personally I prefer to use a spreadsheet of my own.

Clearly you are motivated here and good luck to you. I'd actually like to go the other way and bulk up but this is harder than I thought and isn't helped by still being some way off "exercise ready". I realise that I may get limited sypmathy for the former part of that statement though!!

Good luck...especially around this time of excess!!

Best thing to bulk up on is McDonalds Milkshakes.. missus granda was told by the doctors that its a good way to add weight!

They aint half bad either!

Sadly I'm lactose intolerant (or as one mate in particular describes me, "a fanny" ) so milkshakes and any other dairy related weight gaining foodstuffs are out. :(

I have los a stone in the last 2 months and didn't even try as for bulking up that's more difficult than losing weight as takes a bit of hard workout s in a gym....etc and using protein supplements l spent decades in gyms and dodgy shoulders and elbows by doing so.

Pah, you boys really know how to get on a girl's wick!

This girl is blessed with being more Marilyn Monroe than Kate Moss even though I spend 3 mornings a week in the gym BEFORE work (that's dedication) running 4Km and lifting ~6000kg a session. Still this lardy ass won't shift!

At least I know I'm fit even though I don't look like it! If anyone needs a wardrobe shifting, I'm yer woman!

It might have to be liposuction yet!!!!

Aren't females supposed to be bootylicious?! ;) However, I'll keep you in mind for any heavy lifting I require!

Jassy, I know, it's harder than folks think! I've just started protein and carb supplement from myprotein in an effort to up my calorie intake. They taste pretty grim mixed with water but just pouring it down the hatch. It's a balance not to over exercise at this point until I bulk up a little but at least I can make the most of the festive season in the meantime and it's a good excuse to drink Belgian beers at the first Belgian beer bar in Scotland, Six Degrees North. Bring on the nights out!!! :D

I have indeed but not with a slice of orange in it. Sounds festive. You can actually buy it in the UK in Tesco. Add it to the weekly shop Mac!

I have tried it and with a slice of orange, can't say that I noticed a kick though. Maybe I simply didn't have enough of them  Try harder next time

Play sevens for a church league that spans aberdeen up to fraserburgh - those from the african church in aberdeen are absolute machines its so different playing against them than it is aberdonians!

I must confess that I've never really developed an appreciative pallet for the old vino. Whisky on the other hand...

Church league football is an entirely new concept to me if I'm honest. I'm intrigued! I imagine that the African players are both powerful and tremendously fit. I don't mean that to sound in any way stereotypical but those that I have played with and against in the past tend be exactly that. Not always that skillful though.

very fit, very strong and a few go to ground too easy

its a good league. just turned out that most lads that went to church had a group of friends outwith that circle that loved football and you will know yourself that its sometimes hard to find people to play against! so about 15 teams formed and started a wee league..

Finished mid table which was good especially when a few of our "stars" decided to go off to uni down south  the nerve eh!
