Headlight bulb. Exploding

Hi all

My fault I know. I just changed the drivers side head light bulb. Whilst fighting it to get it out and waggling it, it exploded and sent all broken glass inside the head light unit. It looks a right mess inside through the lens.

I have tried getting the new bulb back in and unable to get the springs onto it properly. Ive just wedged it in and slapped the rubber cover back on. Bloody thing !!!

Needs putting in properly if not the light beam could be in the wrong direction and lead to possibly dazzling someone.
