Head gasket ?

Afternoon, earlier today I started the car and the " oil level incorrect " message appeared, so topped it up with just a smal amount of oil .... now white smoke coming from exhaust when pulling away after standing in traffic .... any ideas ???

Valve oil seals or wear on the piston rings and/or cylinders.

When idling, the vacuum inside the piston and intake manifold is high and can absorb oil through the valve stems or pistons, which is expelled and burned when accelerating.
