Thanks guys for the birthday wishes.

I've had a lovely day so far. Been spoilt rotten by OH and had a lovely lunch out with Mum and Hubby. Not sure OH would say the same about the MIL ;)

Hubby had obviously been listening to me when I was dropping little hints as to what I would like, when I thought he was totally ignoring me :)

Had a nice little happy birthday text from the RCZ salesman who sold me the car yesterday. A nice touch I thought :)

Just chilling this evening with a bottle or two so if I start talking jibberish, you know why ;)

Time is a marvellous thing. Like a good malt or a fruit cake, one simply matures into something far more tasty

A "malt or a fruit cake"?! A malt, a fine wine or a good cheese...now that I've heard before but..."a fruit cake"?!

If you had ever tasted my wife's fruitcake then you would appreciate the sentiment and realise that cheese and wine simply can't get close to maturation

Well I'll be a willing recipient (of the cake...not the wife...as lovely as I'm sure she is ;) ) any time. Until that day...in sticking with the fine wine, malt and good cheese analogy.
