I wonder if anyone with a 200 GT has attempted to adjust the handbrake & could post how the managed it looking through the Workshop data you need to set the cable clearance on the stop bracket with a set of feeler gauges & not just tension the cables inside the car ?

Some guy asked about where to get the cable itself. They seem to be hard to get. Would it be a shared part with something like the 308?

I recently changed the rear brake pads myself and nothing had to be adjusted.

Apparently it adjusts itself.

But you have to have the tool to move the pistons back.

Apparently the feeler gauge test is related to cable stretching measurements the correct way is slacken off handbrake at the adjuster then start engine pump pedal up to 40 times then switch off & adjust cable until it begins to get stiff around 3rd notch remember the brakes have to be pressurised to set themselves correctly as in same procedure after new pads are fitted
