Half leather or cloth

The price I have is including front and rear parking sensors. As I'm planning on this being a fairly long term owner I may well get a second set of wheels so I can run summer and winter tyres so could well go for 19s for summer (or even bigger) and keep the 18s for winter tyres. It's going to be a sport either way though.... Looking at placing the order next week.
Winter tyres are brilliant, well worth investing in

Pah, winters are for pansies. Nothing quite as much fun as going around a corner sideways.

I already "invest" in insurance. I see no need in spending more money for winter tyres

That's great but in order to be able to go around a corner sideways, you need to be able to get out of your remote hamlet or works car park, both of which were impossible prior to purchasing my winter tyres

It's all well and good 'investing' in insurance but we all know those !@&&((?! will screw you over as soon as you make a claim. Along with bankers and traffic wardens, insurers are the scum of the earth....

:lol::lol: xzibit. However, unfortunately your insurers have every right to reject your insurance claim if you are running regular (summer tyres) in winter conditions as the car/tyres will no longer be being driven in accordance with the manufacturer's advice thus making your insurance void. :-o

As a side note, it's far more fun being able to boot it along a snow covered road and corner effectively while others are struggling.

At no point on continental's website are the conti sport 3s described as summer tyres so if an insurance claim was thrown out because I used them in the winter then in my eyes they wouldn't have a leg to stand on. There is no requirement to fit winter tyres as there is in Scandinavian countries and until there is I won't be buying them.

What happened to the RCZ1 quote that originally accompanied this post? and what on earth was it doing accompanying it in the first place. Why do you believe that an insurance company could get away with a scam such as you suggest, when we have no legal requirements in the UK to use winter tyres?

Continental 3s are described as a "max performance summer tyre" by most tyre fitters and as a "standard tyre (this is commonly accepted to mean a summer tyre). It has been designed to work effectively at temperatures above 7 degrees. Therefore, using this tyre in snow and ice would be in direct contravention of the tyre design and manufacturer suggestion. Consult your RCZ manual and it will also tell you to contact your dealership/Peugeot about the approved suggested winter tyres. RON this is common knowledge. It's unusal for an insurer to enforce this for minor claims but they always have it in their armoury. (Oh and the quote wqs accidental jence me deleting it ahead of anyone's reply. I was trying to avoid confusion.)

Anyway...we have digressed somewhat.

No problem, I think the original question is answered unless anyone has pics of a half leather interior to share?

Conversely to what mrizzle says, if you do change to winter tyres you need to notify the insurer as you are changing the car manufacturers specification of the vehicle... Insurers in the UK can be a funny lot. I once had a 3 hour call with one trying to get them to insure a custom built chopper motorcycle - conversation went something like this:

What make is it: royal Enfield
What model: it isn't
What does it say on the v5: royal Enfield
So what is it: a custom built bike
So which part is royal Enfield: actually none of it
So why does it say royal Enfield on the v5: because the first guy to build a bike with this custom frame used a royal Enfield engine
So what engine is in it now: Honda
So has it been modified or customised. Yes
Can you give us a list of the modifications: no
Why not: because every nut and bolt on the bike is custom made and put together

Went on like this for ages. Eventually they accepted a photo of the bike as its description of modifications and gave me a premium of £176...

On the configurator, when I select the Sport model, I only get the 18 inch Original alloys. I don't get an option to select any others.

The current RCZ specification list only shows Original alloys as an option on the Sport. All others not available.

on the configurator, go select sport, HDI, and ignore the other options as they aren't relevant (although you can configure them if you wish)

The wheels option is under:

Options, Accessories (on the line directly above options), then Style...
