Half leather or cloth

Hi guys. I'm trying to make my mind up whether or not to order the cloth interior for my rcz sport or go for the half leather, in which case either black/black or black/grey. The trouble is that I have never seen either as the dealers around here only have gt spec cars here, and I can find no pictures of either. If you have either can you please share photos and experiences / thoughts?

Thanks!

Here's some pictures of the cloth seats in my Sport before I had them retrimmed in leather.

Here's the leather seats that I had done

Personally I would go for half leather/half cloth or better still get full leather retrim like I did, which is cheaper and better quality than normal Peugeot leather :)

Thanks RCZ1 - what did it cost out of interest? I'd like the half leather but its nearly £700 as an option and I have never see it so don't know what it will be like.

John my leather cost around £1k but it is very good quality. I was thinking of the alcantara / leather when I said it was cheaper sorry but the half cloth half leather option isn't a bad price. Personally though, I would pay the extra for the retrim. I'm having my new Sport retrimmed too. It just helps to make the car unique in that respect. The quality of the cloth seats were very good, nothing wrong with then. It's just what your personal preference is.

Jassy - there are 2 options - full leather and alacantra which is around 1200 available in 2 colours, or half leather half fabric which is around 700 again in 2 colours.

Thanks for the info on pricing. I may save the money upfront then and get them retrimmed later.

John save yourself the headache and go for the gt by the time you retrim anything or add extras to the sport deminshing returns comes to mind

YOU GET 19" alloys with the GT the 18"s are too small on a rcz,you get full leather, sports pack, front parking sensors "A must on this car"Heated powered seats and think a couple of bits more.........I have never saw a sport model on the road just Original GT's with 18"s and the wheels do look nice but just TOO small

Hmm. But I can get brand new diesel sport with front parking sensors and sports pack with the metallic paint, on the road for £20,795 so it is quite a saving over the gt. plus I don't want full leather - I would want ideally half alacantra as both my current and last car with full leather have ended up looking tired, and are always too hot or too cold (time of year dependant) despite the heated seats.

John i dont like full leather either but  on the rcz but the 19" wheels are a MUST on this car.......Ideally they should be a option on A sport but its not the UK way its different in THE EUROZONE for speccing the rcz as the spec is made in PACKS  WHICH is a better way to idividulise your rcz

Ps.Just look at the original RCZ GT heading at the top of this forum the 18"s are Dwarfed by the rcz bulk

John, there's nothing wrong with the Sport or the 18 inch wheels. Its all personal choice. The only thing that bothers me personally about the Sport is the lack of alloy design. You only get one design choice albeit in three different colours. I saw no reason to buy the GT over the Sport when placing my order for the second RCZ. The Sport has everything you need and a less harsh ride due to the 18 inch wheels.

I've specced my second RCZ with everything that I wanted and it's still cheaper than the GT and when I get the seats retrimmed, I have a "one off" car, which is personal to me. The Sport model also retains more of it's value than the GT, albeit a small amount, but still more.

Don't let the GT owners talk you out of the Sport model, it's a great car :). With the electric seats, if you want to move them forward they take an eternity to move, not good when it's throwing it down with rain. The manual seats move in a jiffy :)

I would buy the new Technical wheels, I really like them, but at £3k to get them on the Sport, I think I'll give em a miss. I could always consider buying some off eBay when they start to appear and then buy tyres for them, which would be a cheaper option but it starts to get daft...... We'll see.

I'm not telling, you will have to wait and see. I'm going to the retrimmers a week on Monday to finalise the design :)

On the current UK peugeot website on the car configurator, if you choose a sport, go to options, accessories, style, you can choose sortilege alloys, 19" for £327, or the black sortielege alloy for £369 as options...

ah - just spotted - that is the price 'each' - somewhat confusing site, as it will also allow you to order 5 x front spoilers on the configurator

I quite like the look of the 18's from a style perspective - and I think the comfort level they will give as opposed to the 19's is worth having, especially with the number of potholes we are getting these days...

Fook Potholes its a far better looking car with 19" alloys and i have had my rcz gt for nearly 2 years and the ride is very compliant "A Wish Avril WAS the same"..............

The price I have is including front and rear parking sensors. As I'm planning on this being a fairly long term owner I may well get a second set of wheels so I can run summer and winter tyres so could well go for 19s for summer (or even bigger) and keep the 18s for winter tyres. It's going to be a sport either way though.... Looking at placing the order next week.
