GT Spec

Hi all,

I recently purchased a GT from a local dealer, the vehicle was a demonstrator.
Earlier today as I gave it a wash I noticed that the alloys are only standard 18".
Can anybody confirm that the GT model comes with 19" alloys as standard?
I have checked with the Peugeot web site and I can only find a 2011 spec sheet and the vehicle concerned is a 2010 model.
The 2011 spec sheet confirms they should be 19".
I don't want to get onto the dealer for selling me a car as a GT with the wrong spec before I am in possession of my ammunition etc.

Thanks for any help

Peter

Your car is the correct spec for the vehicle at the time it was built. The 1st UK batch of GT HDi's all had 18" alloys as standard not 19's.

Most of these cars were allocated for use as dealer demos.

I've actually seen some early 156 GT's and a 200 GT running on 18's.

All GT's now have 19's as standard but yours is correct with 18's.

Thanks for the replies. I had also contacted Peugeot re this question and here is their official reply

Thank you for your recent enquiry made via the Peugeot website.

The spec on the website states the 18 inch alloy wheels are standard for all RCZ vehicles but it also states that 19 inch alloys are available if desired.

Thanks again
