GT SPEC with tyre sensors

The vision pack adds tyre sensors as there is no spare tyre a punture kit is included if you use this kit and need a new tyre will this affect the sensor when the tyre is replaced with a new valve or do you need to get a complete new sensor valve which could be 150 quid. ? :helpme:

Could be wrong but I thought standard tyre pressure monitoring systems worked on a principle of measuring the hub rotational speed as opposed of any physical sensor located inside the tyre. So changing the tyres should not affect this system.

There are two types.

one where it measures the rolling circumference to detect deflation and actual sensors that can measure tyre pressure & tyre temperature.

The later being the better system not sure which system Peugeot use on the upgrade?

May be one of the peugeot reps will enlighten us?
