Hi all,

Just waiting on my GT 200 THP model to arrive and was wondering what sort of Milage you guys were getting from a tank on yours. Just curious. I know it depends how you drive, ie heavy right foot etc.

Cheers,

P........

I think this just relates to the diesel model but I'll double check,

Cheers...

That thread was aimed more towards diesels. This question relates to the 200 THP. Sorry I don't have that engine but I'm sure others will be along to pass on their experience with this engine.

Average 28.1 over 4,000 miles. It's crap mileage but worth it in smiles. I will get diesel next time though!

Only had it 5 days but it's reading 34.8 which is pretty good and I tend to drive in a lower gear to keep revs up and have been running on super unleaded and havent been taking it easy just depends how u like to drive but if you drive it like you should 34.8 ain't bad probly could get better if you limp about in higher gear but why would you want to :auto-car:

5 days in here aswell and currently hitting 33.1mpg which is way better than my old Lexus IS300 so am happy with that.

Still on the first Tank and if the range computer is right then should be hitting 350 to 375 from the Tank

Peugeot says the mpg will only be stable after 3000 miles of driving, or there about.

I have the lowly 156bhp and I'm only averaging a return of 29.7mpg. However, the car has only just broken 1600 miles and I do like to hold onto third a while when accelerating up to 70(ish) on the dualers/motorways.

I drive mine quite gently most the time. And that 28.1 is the average over the total 4,000m on it. I have done some motorway trips where I have set the single trip and that has returned 36.1mpg over the run.

My problem is that I don't do long trips and I am rural so it never gets the chance to even out I think. However it does not came anywhere near the claimed numbers.

I think the other issue is that to make it really sing you have to work it and thats high rpm because its a highly strung engine which also takes its toll.

Thats why it will be a diesel for me next time as the torque is better suited to how and where I drive.

My first refuel, around 26.8mpg on the first full tank. Quite a hungry car...
