Hey everyone, got my RCZ a month ago and I am located in South Australia. Well within first few months I had to replace timing chain as there was an error code. And many other little issues I have been tackling myself . Drains my pocket but Well, it's a gorgeous car and I am not going to give up yet.

thank you for your kind words. i will need loads of help from you guys. its almost a regretful buy and i sometimes want to give it up and just get a reliable boring Corolla. I am fed up to that point sometimes with this. Its just a beautiful car and an amazing drive

Beware of misleading fault codes. Find yourself a true expert so you don't follow false leads. BTW I bought my R from a guy in Port Lincoln and had it trucked over to Melbourne. Good luck sorting your car!

I have one intermittent fault which I can safely ignore. "Battery charge or electrical system faulty." Probably a faulty sensor. The culprit could be the battery protection unit. Pretty expensive to fix and it might not fix it anyway. Stupid sensors lol.
