guys.. I did my booking on 23rd MAY 2011, at a point where all the 1st batch of RCZ was fully booked. The salesman showed me the memo issued to them saying the latest waiting period for RCZ is 3months. But exactly 1 MONTH later, On 23rd June. i took delivery of my car ;) How? Thanks to the branch manager Mr.Chow. He was very practical, no bull and well connected I suppose.. The only thing was the idiotic PUSPAKOM didnt came as promise for the inspection. Hence, I cant bring her home till this monday.. damn! Mr.Chow will b transferred to Bangsar branch next month. TCBY, if u booked thr, u might try ur luck with him.

About the tint.. i hv brought up this in the general section, refer to problem-tinting-rcz-rear-windscraceen-t2123.html . Our fellow owner from singapore (bloodlegna) got it done from peugeot singapore them self.. I got some gud offer from 3M authorized tinter. let's go together and see if we can get further % ;)

p/s: check your PM guys..

haha yea so far I am satisfied with the job peugeot singapore has done with the tinting. I am not sure if they outsourced the tinting job but so far no air bubbles and the tint really helps to cool the car.

To illustrate my point, I was given the test drive car as a replacement car for a couple of days and I noticed that it was not tinted. For the cabin to remain comfortably cool, the aircon fan speed had to be set at 4 and temp 18 degrees. Compare that to my current tinted car, the aircon fan speed is at 2 and temp 20 degrees. All this on a typical sunny singapore day !

On a side note, I think the peugeot rcz aircon is weaker as compared to other makes. I drove a lexus gs300 previously and I typically left the fan speed at 1 and the temp at 24 degrees.

Anyone thought of remapping their ECU to gain extra on their 156 or 200?

Hi guys, just picked up mine 2 days back. Very nice indeed. Only grouse I have is the clutch biting point is bit too high for my liking. So far driven it twice only, don't even have time for the user manual yet. Anyone done coating for their paint yet?

Hi Guys

As luck would have it, Nasim Peugeot just happened to have a Pearl White manual for me. I only booked 2 weeks ago, the branch is pushing it through by the end of the month! I was prepared to wait to next year, now I can't wait a week ...

Typical questions I have now:

1. Tinting? Thinking about doing ecotint - recommended from the auto
2. Is the Nano Brite package worth it?

Ta!

Update for Malaysians - Picked up the car Saturday (1st Oct), applied Sierra Glow coating yesterday (Monday). In heavy downpour (Cyberjaya) today, water beads off nicely. Well worth the RM700 Choong charged me as I don't have time for proper detailing myself.

I've applied GTechniq L1 Leather Guard to the seats after wiping down with 20:1 solution of W2. Sierra Glow also applied a coating to window and rims, will see how that turns out. I did buy GTechniq C5 Wheel Armour, G4/G1 for the glass but won't be needing either of these yet.

I've also got Gummi Pfledge for the rubber window seals, will apply that next - the rubber really feels like it's melting under our sun.

Still haven't done tinting, Ecotint says they can do the rear double bubble in one piece. From cruising over the weekend, tinting the rear window is an absolute must.

Nazerim, just a word of warning, remember to wipe down the window seals after you have applied Gummi Pfledge otherwise when it rains / gets wet, it will run. I found that out to my cost

Thanks! A run on the Pearl finish would be a complete disaster
