For the life of me, I cannot work out what that image shows. All that I can see is a reflection of a wooden fence panels. If you don't have any success my stepson has his own PDR business and covers your neck of the woods.

Right on the bend, you can see a dent... got one of those on my GTI. Car being white, it hides it nicely though...

How much did you pay for that dent repair kit?

That's cos your looking at a close up of a panel Ron. Feel the pain as I have something similar. Hope the kit works and let us know how successful you are along with ease of use for the kit

It cost £8 on eBay it was on buy it now and included postage so thought it was worth a go.

If it doesn't work I can still use the glue gun included in the pack for other things.

Re: Got one of these

Before I bought it I saw some demonstrations on YouTube.
Looked like ordinary punters filming its use but you never know these days.
Anyhow hoping to try it this weekend.

Right here goes included in the box was a glue gun, 3 glue sticks a brace and some glue release fluid.

Instructions were simple enough and basically you just put glue on the flat puller and fixed it to the dent it advised starting from the edge on large dents and working your way round mine was small so I put it in the middle.

Next attach the brace

And then tighten down on the puller as seen in the middle of the brace.
The puller breaks free from the car with a pop pulling out the dent as it does so.

As you can see it left a bit of glue residue it didn't pull the lacquer off the car.

After I used the glue release fluid/ softener and wiped it clean the results were pretty good.

It didn't completely remove the dent but I think that was because mine was located on a strengthened part of the wheel arch right on the edge of the curve but I reckon on a flat surface you would get even better results.

Not sure if it would pull paint off if your car had a respray but for £8 I'm quite pleased with the results

Re: Got one of these

May have to give this a go as I have at least two on flats of the car. One on the fold in the passenger door probably is irrepairable though :(
