Hi all,

Just wondered if any kind soul with a MKII RCZ with Xenon lights can help me please?

I'm looking for accurate shape and dimensions of the washer covers for the headlights on the front of the car.

These things:

So, if you have them on the front of your RCZ, could you maybe just trace round one of them with a paper and pencil and then send me the pic so I may use it as a template please?

Any help with this slightly odd request would be a.) most appreciated, and b.) totally awesome!

Thank you.

I have a Mk2 with xenons but I'm in Madeira and my Z is at Manchester airport at the moment. I'm sure someone will have helped out before I return, but if not, I will get my trusty ruler out for you

I can help. I'll measure them up and do a template tomorrow. Getting dark now and pissing it down, insane wind as well. Think the cat just spiralled past the window.

Hi, so the longest part horizontally is 12.5cm. Vertically maximum measurement is 4cm.
Not sure if it's quite that simple though due to shape. If you wish I can always trace around them exactly and send the template through the post?

Andy.

Thanks, Andy. That helps but it is quite an odd shape so if you could please trace round it for me that would be fantastic. No need to post it though - maybe you could scan the tracing or photograph it and upload the image here instead? I should then be able to redraw it using your measurements as well. What do you think?

So, I'm back now & luckily the Z was still where I parked it

I've had a feeble attempt to do a template for you, see if it's any good........ :eusa-think:
