Got a Build Date - So why so Sad

I called my dealer today and he gave me a build date :( (so why am I not smiling ) I was hoping to be told it was in Calais like RCZ1 and Perkybillet as I ordered slightly before them. Yes I know about building in batches/colour etc but hearing there's were in Calais got my hopes up.

I'm not smiling because my build date is set for 30th April  . He did say it would most likely be moved forward but that is not definate so I am now well and truly P****D Off. That is 13.5 weeks after ordering it, nothing I or dealer can do but I am really not happy

It's a long time to wait, but I wouldn't say it's an extortionately long amount of time.

Point taken but still longer than the first one, and people will have had theres a month or more that ordered after me, thats the frustrating part. I am just not a very patient person even though I try to be. :D

That sucks. Luckily you didn't order a Ferrari F12 or something like that, there's like a two years waiting list for one of those :D

Nobody likes waiting for a new car so I can fully sympathise with your anger over what will be a near 4 month wait. At the very least you currently have the second best thing to the Facelift RCZ, the pre-facelift RCZ

It's not the car that you are looking forward to, simply to be able to have an accurate speed camera reading........... just like jactac and I

I would probably feel the same way that you do, if it was my car. On a positive note, it's better than the 10 months I had to wait for Pearl AND we should definitely have MUCH better weather by then :)

Patience is a virtue that seldom possess, but if you possess it,THEN YOU WILL BE BLESSED  ALL cliche's aside my car is waiting on me and i have got to admit it's only Tuesday and its been a long week already wouldnt take it anyhow till the weather breaks all the grit on the roads

Somethings in life are well worth waiting for....Just think it of like you have booked a holiday for a set time then concentrate on that specific date then it wont drag in and man up a little......... :)

Dealer rang today as promised to give me an update after saying he would try and get reason for such a late build date. He came back saying date was still set for 30th April and had no explination as to why it is taking so long. Someone from Peugeot is with the dealership next Wednesday so he is going to try and find a reason then. To be fair to Dealership they have given me weekly updates and tried to find reason for delay. It is looking like being best part of 4 months from placing order to taking delivery. Patience needed.

I'd cancel the order Grant. You have a fully working and better media system now. Why down grade?
