Each to their own.

I have had Fords, and will never buy another.

This is the 3rd pug & maybe my last, maybe not. Never had a problem with any of them (so far).

I bought my Z because of how it looked and the unbelievable level of equipment it had been fitted with, the speed was a bonus, and certainly not a let down.

If you are happy driving round in a Focus, good on you..... Each to their own.

Enjoy your RCZ. I will still smile every time I see one.

I have to say that the 200 isn't exactly a slouch and will trouble a number of cars in the road with those times. I'm surprised at the 0-62 sprint times of the Mountune ST though. That's 0.1 seconds quicker than my VXR. :(

Mind you, we all know that these times aren't a true measure of speed and it's torque and in gear acceleration that's a true measure of speed. News to me, was quite how quickly the RCZR accelerates in gear!! "And the 5.5sec it took to get from 30-70mph – half a second quicker than a Vauxhall Astra VXR – just goes to show which league the R’s overhaul has put it in." - http://m.autocar.co.uk/car-review/peuge ... erformance OUCH!! I'll keep that in mind if I have the opportunity to set the two against one another!

I think we can forget the 0.1seconds ;)

The VXR is a great car as well. I was seriously considering one before I decided to go for the ST.

Maybe I'll have to get mine mapped. I can go as far as stage 2 before i'd have to seriously upgrade parts. Small matter (literally) of my first child being born in 7 weeks.

Jassy, you're only as old as the lady you're feeling. **squeeze** That places me firmly at 28...plenty young enough for VXR forums!

Mac, Jassy is on it tonight and absolutely bang on with his remarks. You're looking at 5.1 secs with the manual...not much in it really. I'll also subtract a few 0. secs on account of my svelte build. ;) It's weight saving after all.

Vw have underestimated there timing the dsg will do 60 in 4.5 secs and the manual in 4.7.

Well it looks like you are all enjoying your superfast hot hatches. Those 0-60 times sure come in handy when its first to the fuel pumps twice per day. Whatever you do though, keep your eyes on your rear view mirrors and do your best not to hog the outside lane, us v8 drivers towing a BP fuel tanker (whilst wearing a tweed jacket) need to press on. :)
