Your mum sounds like a top lady. Got a fantastic visual image of them all having a good knees up led by your dear mum. Absolutely brilliant!!

Oh...and I pass no real judgement on your singing voice. The only thing I am worthy of serenading is my car...if there's nobody else in it and the windows are up!!! Still...love a good sing along in the car!!!:lol::lol:

Another great read and sublime photos...again!

Is it just me or does anyone else imagine Ron being James May out of your little trio?

Oh...and Abz, what on earth happened to your splitter?! Is it repairable?!

It just scraped on the road. There was no damage :)

I set the alarm. Just forgot to turn it on. Worst thing was, when the wife woke me, I couldn't remember that I was going out.

WOW those seats look fantastic. I worked at Bentley for 5 years and ran the leather trim and seat build areas on both the Continental and Arnage Series cars. There are a few very small pattern and trim issues I can see but they really suit the car brilliantly. I would have been tempted to have a cross stitch put on the seams but I'm not sure it might be too much as they are quite busy as they are and pretty much spot on for the shape of the seat.

I think the 2 tone colours and pattern areas are just right for the bucket type seats. Love the centre arm rest too. Well done, seriously jealous now.

So now then, if you can just get hold of the patterns from the trimmer and hand them over to me, I can get my trimmer mate who runs his own trim shop to do mine ;-)

Not bad is it and I wasn't hanging around either. I suppose it had a lot to do with the roads being quiet so a constant speed was able to be maintained and limited braking / slowing down :)

Thanks Jim. I'd be interested to know what little trim and pattern issues there are from the eye of someone who knows about these things. It looks ok to me but obviously you know better than I do;)

The thing that I'm really pleased with is the fact that there is absolutely zero rucking on the seat from my derrière ! The quilted leather and extra padding that this provides has really been a great success.

Hi Kerry,

As I said very minor issues.

The fronts look perfect from the pics, but the rears have a bit of bagginess on the shoulder of the rear squabs. This could have been trimmed out but pulling tighter, or the application of local heat. There are a few "crows feet" on the cushion bolsters and a bit of bagginess around the seat belt buckles and the centre back. Very minor issues and I think it spoils the car. Therefore because I'm a real nice guy I will take them off your hands and do a straight swap for a nice set of standard black ones out of my car???????

Did you cover the hard plastic cover on the rear of the front seats. I think that would look great trimmed in the red leather?

Lol Jimbrodie, you had me going there ;).

No I didn't have the plastic on the rear of the front seats done. Its really a like for like for what was originally there. No-one goes in the back either so wouldn't be seen.

No worries mate.

Covering the seat backs would be something to consider next time (I'm sure there will be a next time) it wouldn't cost much either as it's just virtually a flat piece of leather stuck on. I appreciate. No one sits in the back but looking through the back and side windows I think would just finish off what is already a stunning set of seats.

By the way the swop offer still stands .................... lol

A big thank you to Abzynthe for the great work he did on my brake calipers. A truly nice guy   :greetings-wavingblue:

Please excuse the dirty alloys but I think the calipers look great. They are not in their finished state yet - just waiting for a finishing touch :eusa-whistle:

In progress
