Just saw on the RCZ FB page that the 50,000th RCZ off the production line is MOROCCON RED....and stunning it is too!

I've just managed to see that, thanks for the heads up. Looks lovely. Looks like it has the full black pack.

Young man, I'm just so excited about getting Ruby detailed, I can't tell you. Every little "detail" is being finalised and recorded on my detailing spreadsheet so that nothing gets missed. It's half the fun of getting a new car, doing the detailing, getting things just right - I love it :).... Can you tell I'm excited ? .... :)
Ermmm nope

You sound like you've certainly got the bit between your teeth, your a very dedicated young lady, I wish I had the patience. I hope the wait passes quickly for you

WOW cannot believe pearl is going :( , she is a beautiful looking car and anyone who has seen her knows she has been well loved
Cannot wait to see the new Ruby RCZ at the next summer meet ,

I must admit Hubby has been asking if I wanted to change as Ive had my RCZ a year in March , usually only keep them 9 months , but I love this car and have decided to keep it a little longer ,she has been great in the bad weather and the snow .
I must say I really dont like the new front on the RCZ maybe have to take a closer look at Ruby, but there isn't another car on the road that turns heads Like the RCZ ,

Thanks Speedy Lady :)

Yes I will be sad to see Pearl go but as one chapter closes another opens. She will always be fondly remembered AND she got me a few entries in the RCZ calendar :)

I was only thinking today about another Yorkshire Meet. We'll have to get something posted up and arranged.

Glad to hear you are still loving your RCZ. There really isn't a better looking car on the road, for the price, I agree with you.

Visited my leather retrimmer in York today. Finalised the colour and design for the seats, along with a new motif. Prices have gone up in the 2.5 years since I had Pearl done but that is because they are using even better leather than before, if that's what you want, but they do have cheaper options too. Still excellent value. He's got even more colours, stitching options etc to choose from then ever before.

The leather will be ready in 2 weeks, which will coincide nicely with Ruby arriving. The retrimmer is happy to go along to my dealership to fit it there so it's all ready for me when I collect the car. Just got to confirm that is ok with my dealer.

On another note, the retrimmer looked at my seats in Pearl and was pleased with how the seats were looking and said she still looked stunning. He wasn't happy with the rucking on the drivers seat which isn't that bad but he said he will correct it, under warranty.

I'm even more excited about Ruby arriving now... Roll on beginning of April :)

Brilliant stuff. That'll be fantastic if he manages to get it all done at the dealership ahead of you picking her up. You must be excited!

I can't wait to see the new interior that you have selected. I'm sure it's going to be fantastic. What a way to personalise your RCZ and make it utterly unique!

Having bought mine second hand I never had that period of anticipation whilst awaiting delivery. In fact it was almost an impulse purchase - which is really unusual for me! Maybe next time......

I'm also very much looking forward to seeing Ruby in May.

i think the planning and organising and all the thinking in anticipation of taking delivery of a new car is a big part of the build up !! hope the time passes quickly and cant wait to see some shots of the beauty

Well Ruby has a 13 reg number plate allocated to her. In order to speed up the process I'm putting my private plate on retention which is quicker than waiting for DVLA to process the transfer, which can take 3 weeks. It does mean she'll be "13" for a short while before I can get my other plates on. I hope that's not going to be unlucky!

Initially I was quite happy to drive about it a 61 plate ... then I got naffed off that no-one recognised it was me when I waved/flashed .... then after 3 lonnnnnnnng weeks I was desperate to get J1DLH back. Having said that, the dealer got me SV61UDH, couldn't get DLH ..... otherwise I would have kept it on and put mine on retention until my next car :)

Thanks guys for your comments. I can't wait to show her off :)

I saw a Moroccan red RCZ on the M3, she looked stunning. Good choice RCZ1

Ooh Snowy, I haven't actually seen one on the road yet. The one I saw in the showroom looked very nice :)
