This happened in Dec last year, my friend was driving my car and i was in the passenger seat we were coming from another country and we were driving around 130 kms and suddenly it took left turn by it self and we hit 10 cement barriers and straight to a lamp post I think on a speed of 100 kms

...and you still call this person a "friend"?! Sounds like a fairly terrifying experience!

I've never in my million kilometers of driving had a car 'suddenly jump to the left'.

And you're trying to tell me my new most expensive car I've ever owned is going to one day just jump somewhere?

I didn't spend all that money for that kind of random life threatening experience.

In case you don't realize, I find the, hmm, story, hard to believe.

I'll be generous to say the coffee cup fell in his lap.

All I can really assume is a woeful driver who can't control a premium vehicle along a straight section of highway, on a good weather day.

I see the wing was fully extended, what's that again, 120 k/hr plus?

It could have been manually raised to full to be fair. They could also have had a blowout which might have resulted in the car suddenly veering off the road. It could of course be a whole range of other things. I'd be interested to hear what the cause was too....

Given where they we're, they could have been having a drag race with a Mclaren, Lamborghini and Ferrari and the tail wind from them blew them off of the road?

I end up with a broken nose and couple of wounds, I'm used to accident before three years I had a bike accident i end up two broken bones the bone came outside and my leg was twisted to the left side

I'm serious about the question to our friend. I mean, it implies that the rcz is a death trap, which I highly doubt.

It had to have been poor driving. I put it to the OP again, what is the truth of the crash, cos I'm calling BS on 'the car just veered left' - utter BS.

Don't get me wrong, I too think that driver error sounds like the most likely cause of this accident. I'm just saying that, although it's very unlikely, it could have been a blowout or a low power steering fluid, a problem with the steering rack, a slipped pinion, or a sheered tie rod or something similar. I'd just like to hear the OP's definitive explanation before I completely apportion the blame on the "friend" (who would have been promptly struck off my Christmas card list....especially if he was driving with only third party cover)!!!

So, come on Papi Chulo, what WAS the actual cause?!

(hint) the passenger airbag doesn't appear to have engaged. (I'm going from memory of the pics, I may have to review, but I'm not going to watch again as the OP might just be trying to get view hits). I'm a real cynic aren't I

:lol::lol::lol: There's nothing wrong with a touch of cynicism and a willingness to question things. It's a shame that some people don't do it with some sections of the media and with much of what is written on the Internet.

If the car " took left turn by it self" I believe that Peugeot would have a large claim on their desks right now. However it may be a case of English not being the OP's first language and has not quite got his wording right.
