Goodby to the Beast

Just throwing this out there, my beautiful 2012 RCZ THP 200 GT in pear White, full feline kit quads etc is been replaced next month with a Carbon. This car is mint with only 14k on the clock. At the moment it looks destined to be returned to the finance company as the dealer doesn't want it because of the book price and all that sh**e. Anybody after one won't find a better one, condition and mileage alone puts it well above the book price. Anybody interested just shout. Just had the MOT Done as the finance comp needs 2 month clear MOT if it goes back to them.

Must admit - I love my 200GT, but I do REALLY want a Red Carbon (all the toys and ltd ed), or perhaps an RCZ-R... maybe in a few years once I've sold the Jaaag... Post some pics!

Yes it will be picture time 1st March!!!! had looked at the R but some of the comfort elements have been stripped out to get the weight down such as the electric seats, so i opted for the comfort. After all i have never been able to use the full 200 horses i already have so buying some more which i will never be able to use didn't add up.

I must admit, that was my thought - the roads are pretty bad on my commute and the GT is firm enough, coupled with the loss of some of the comfort features... and especially as you can chip a GT to 230BHP+. If I was going to use it for track days etc would have to be the R, but for day-day use, the GT makes more sense and the Carbon is just an optimised version with that lovely red and black stitching and all the toys... Enjoy it anyway!!

When I chose to replace my Gt200 with an R I too worried about the ride.

However, I was surprised to find the R was better, over the same roads even with the apparently stiffer suspension.

Interesting stuff - guess I'll have to try one as/when I come to change!

Your getting the car I wanted  but unfortunately the piggy wasn't full enough for one of those, so had to settle for a GT200, so how lucky was I to find one with everything on it I wanted & more!

The carbon is an amazing car - enjoy

Must admit I was going to keep the Beast, it is absolutely mint with only 14k on the clock, but the final ballon payment didn't add up, and the deal I got for The carbon to say they aren't taking mine part X was too good to walk away from plus piece of mind of another 3 year hassle free motoring. I will be sad to see beast go, but looking forward to the Carbon. Having the quads fitted though by the dealer. Being a Virgo things have to balance!!!

Are you taking the quads and air filter from your old car?

Aaarrgghhhh I want quads
RCZ performance supply the ones originally supplied in the Feline pack, the dealer agreed to fit them FOC if I supplied them. Had to be done!!!

The quads are staying as they were supplied with the car along with the mesh grill. Probably but the original air filter back in if it goes back to the finance company.
