Hi all. I have been following various topics on the forum for a few weeks whilst impatiently awaiting news on delivery of my new Charcoal 156 GT. I must congratulate all the active members on a very informative site. I have learnt a great deal about the car and how to look after her from the posts - thanks!

Received some great news at the beginning of the week with the dealer confirming my RCZ would be available to enjoy over the long Easter weekend :dance: Will take delivery on Thursday and have been smiling all week - I can honestly say I have never been this excited about getting a new car before. Can't wait. Cheers :beer:

Thanks to all for a very warm welcome. I had to push the finances to go for the GT spec so wasn't able to spec any options but it did seem to have the advantage of obtaining earlier delivery. I am quite partial to chocolate but you are right - a new RCZ makes for an excellent and much more enjoyable Easter gift!

I have the standard GT HDI and I honestly love it the way it is. Maybe I would have opted for the Zenons but other than that it's perfect ;-)

Took delivery at lunchtime and have just finished my first proper drive around some beautiful Hampshire countryside on a cold but sunny day - I have such a big smile on my face.

Think I might take her out for another spin in a few minutes.
