I appreciate it's a very special wax that does leave a great finish. I've never used it personally but never heard of it lasting 12 months. In all the reviews I've read over the years, 3 months in this country, seems to be the norm. Presumably you apply 2 coats at the outset to get longer durability? I do like a nice oily wax rather than paste waxes. Much nicer to use :)

I was bidding on some 25ml samples of that on fleabay but when they all passed the 45 buck mark I declared myself out!! :(

Thanks for that RCZ1, I'll check it out. I was really after something to see ne through winter and know that that Crystal Rock wax is supposed to be good for 6-12 months. Never mind, hopefully the Durus wax samples from Def wax will be available soon as I really want to give the car the works soon!!
