gear knob

Hi all, The leather has come off my gear knob, I brought a new one from Amazon but the push fitting on the new knob is to small.
The old one pulled off with a bit of a struggle but now need to locate and purchase a new one.

Does anyone know the size I need, and where to buy one.

Good morning all.
Verminator, asked for some photos of the gear leaver and gear knob.
I need to buy a new gear knob I have tried E-Bay/Amazon but they do not fit.
any advice where to buy one would be great.

By the look of your pictures you have not got the whole of the gear knob off as if it was a standard leather gear knob you should just twist to one side and it should put off leaving a thinner plastic fitting.... Looks like you have just got the top of gear knob and not all of it...here is how..

Morning Verninator ,Does the blue bit unscrew, its tight and i don't want to force it if it doesn't.

No that stays in and the new gear knobs that fit the peougeot just slot on to it if you have got one like this it will not fit right ...
