From Build to Driving Away

Hi,

How long is the wait from Build date too actually getting the keys for the car ? I ordered my Car 5 weeks ago this Friday heard nothing about build date, my sister ordered a BMW it was built and shipped within one month

I Just hope I am not waiting another 2 months I Want it before the Summer Ends :dance:

2/3 weeks I would have said.

Dealer has told me 10 days from build date mine hopefully being born on Thursday !!!! Whoohooo!!

Depends where you are in the country but usually 2 or 3 weeks from build to collection. May be longer if you are having a personal number put on it.

For me first one was 23 days and second one 26 days Build Date to Pickup

Mine was one of the first and it took 3 months!

I never actually got a firm build date. Just told April - and it came early

I ordered end March, finally got a build date of 24th June last week after pestering like mad for a date, and I have been told 14 days after the build date for delivery. I hope this is all correct as I have booked my car in for detailing and paint protection with a firm in Wrexham mid July!

I was initially told 8 weeks from ordering to delivery but that was clearly rubbish!

It's about normal for any car. Depends where you are in the country etc. shipping, transporting, etc, etc

I'm actually glad it took Peugeot 3 months to build mine, as it only took BMW a month to build my last car and it felt like it as it started falling apart inside a month........... Oh German build quality or lack of.
