First MOT/Service Question

Evening all,

Sorry if this has been asked umpteen times before, I have tried to search on the site for an answer but to no prevail!

My RCZ is due her first MOT by the end of May. My question is do I also need to book her for a service too? I have only done 31k miles and she is obviously just 3 years old. If so, which service do I need?

I've already spoken to the dealer to extend the warranty at the same time, so that is one less thing to worry about.

Thanks in advance for any info,

Cheers :)

Surely you've had it serviced at 20K?? Technically won't need another service until 40K but a pre-MOT once over and fresh oil is never a bad thing :)

Mines had two services already and another one with it MOT in three weeks. Ive only done 20k lol. I personally get it serviced every year, that way it stays in top shape and theres no confusion :)

Ah yes, she was done December 2012 for her 20k service, the question was more about the MOT and if she needed an additional service. I have tried to do it online, but mypeugeot seems to think the car was registered in July and not May and so only gives me the service option!
I will also pester them to finally get a log book as I've still never had one from buying her 6 months old :eusa-think:

Yes book the service at the same time, i prefer to have services done every year if I have not reached the mileage, I was quoted on my last RCZ for the MOT and service @ £105 from the Peugeot dealer so good value all round  (it cost £238 in the end as i had the aircon regassed, brake fluid changed and pollen filter done as well  ) still about £300 quid cheaper than my old Subaru though ;)

So in answer to your question, no you do not need to, as your car is due servicing every 20,000 miles or two yearly intervals. However myself along with others have said it is not a bad thing to get a service done yearly.
