Firmware Update

Hi guys, I'm driving a 2011 RCZ HDI with WIP COM 3D and I would like to know how I can update the firmware of my car (the one I have is still the stock, never updated it). The I would like to update also de GPS maps that also are the 2011 ones, but for now I just would like to put a fresh firmware.

No no, mine is like the one in the link. Running the current firmware: ng4_D_R26b_R26.04.

Another question, is there any major difference between the 42.01 and the 42.03 version of the NG4, worth the update?

The maps that require 42.03 will have features that will only work with that firmware.
Updating it is so easy and takes little time compared to the map upgrade, so I wouldn't know why you'd want to skip it.
