Finally?

Ok so I created an account on here a long time ago when I planned on ordering a new Mk1 RCZ thp200. But for various reasons (house buying mainly) it never happened and I stuck with my trusty Diesel VW workhorse. But now I’m about to go look at an RCZ R I’ve had reserved and shipped down from Arnold Clark Mercedes in Inverness. I’ll post a picture of it as the wheels are distinctive. Does anyone know if previous owner was on here? (Assuming they probably live near Inverness and probably traded it in for a merc I guess). As I’d ideally like to read any history about the car.

Hi now there were a guy last year that had a green wrapped R that I’m sure was red originally if I remember rightly it had quite low mileage and he definitely traded it in for a merc but not sure if it was Inverness. This could be the same car as I’ve never seen the green version go up for sale? :eusa-think:

It’s not the green one, that was sold couple weeks back. I was looking at that one but prefer the Red tbh

Had a call from Birtley dealership where it was delivered. It has two snapped springs. Not a good start. How many miles should front springs last?

There were actually two green wrapped R’s that were for sale last year the one I’m taking about attended the Yorkshire meet in May last year and was traded in at a merc dealership shortly after.
