Hello community, finally after some time I took the plunge and purchased a RCZ 200CP. It may be because of my age, 51 years, after 2 other motorcycles and 3 cars. but the RCZ will represent a personal project of the soul. I hope it lasts and I don't have any problems.
RCZ 2010, 200cp, 195000km
They say it's a car for girls, for young people, but I don't believe it

U will love it :) Just got my HDi after 20 mths of searching and 30 mths of saving

Low profiles are a nightmare if your roads are as bad as ours (doubt that...) - Looking for a higher sidewall tyre solution :)

Tidy looking car, health to enjoy.
Longevity is down to maintenance, most parts cross reference with other Peugeot or Citroens still available so maintaining them doesn’t have to be expensive generally.
And as for those saying the RCZ is for girls, they either havent driven a decent well maintained one, or are just jealous.

Yeah...getting in and out is a bitch, but once you're seated it's all good! 😉
yes a delightful cockpit that reeks of quality (Gt) - unfortunately due to above, I find the clutch more of a chore than a pleasure - The gearshift itself is one of the best i have ever tried

Would have loved a V6 with flappy paddle option...riding on 18" 50 profiles :)

Had mine around 3 weeks now and really looking forward to some dry summer where hard work cleaning lasts more than 1/2 hr ;)

Don't shift myself, can't be bothered. Got the 6 speed auto.there was a guy here selling a paddleshift conversion on the tuning forum a few years back. Can't recall if it was only for the tiptronic or not. As for the V6, before I got my Z I had the 406 coupe 3.0.Now that was a smooth ride. At any rate enjoy your Z and watch out for those puddles..;)

Thanks for the welcome, and now let me tell you the first problems that were found during a service check.
- after changing the oil I put Total 0w30 it has that blue smoke for 2 seconds when leaving the traffic light or after idling for a long time,
- coolant loss
- I noticed that sometimes when the water reaches 60 degrees, the fan starts at maximum speed and stays that way until I turn off the engine, when I restart everything is normal
- after about 30-45 minutes of driving, the navigation unit restarts, the radio stations are no longer stored, and the navigation is in a continuous movement to the EAST or WEST.
- fuel consumption - 8 highway - 16 city - here I'm not complaining, I'm just informing.
- tester errors -
1. P0948 Oil Pressure Regulation Solenoid Valve
Control: Short Circuit To The Battery +
Permanent
2. 1.040A Oil Gauge Fault Local 2.0303 Configuration Local
The above are permanent
But out of the blue, while driving without any symptom of operation, the unit shut down, I received a check message, and the following errors
Engine ECU 2 problems exist
1.P0948 Oil Pressure Regulation Solenoid Valve
Control: Short Circuit To The Battery +
Permanent
2.P2074 Inlet Pressure Regulation: Pressure Too High
Permanent
Built-In Systems Interface (Bsi) 7 problems exist
1.04AE Door Locking
Short Circuit To Positive. Local
2.04C7 RH Reversing Lamp Lighting Fault
Short Circuit To Positive. Local
3.05FF Unexpected Re-initialisation Fault Coming
From The BSI
Local
4.0303 Configuration
Local
5.098A Engine Relay Unit : Fault Front Right Side Light
Open Circuit. Local
6.098E Engine Fuse Box: Main Beam Headlamps Fault
Local
7.0992 Engine Relay Unit : Front Right Direction
Indicator Fault
Open Circuit. Local
Engine Relay Unit 3 problems exist
1.098A Front Right Side Light
Open Circuit
2.098E Driving Lights Fault
Not Characterised
3.0992 Front Right Direction Indicator Fault
Open Circuit

The errors have been deleted, the permanent ones remain. Also since then when I put the left signal the signal and cornering lights flash.
I mention that the car runs perfectly round, idles very stable at 750 rpm.
I brought this information maybe it will help someone or someone has solutions or helpful information. I will have a second service appointment scheduled for Monday for a checkup.

Light signal error

Have you checked your battery? A failing battery can sometimes trigger all kinds of faults.since you mention the Z rides perfectly and most of the faults look to be electrical.
