Hi all, I'm Dom from Faversham, Kent.

Picked up my RCZ GT 200 in Black, yesterday. I will post more pictures on the Member's Gallery as I aim to have a 'Progress Thread, so to speak. Anyway, the spec of the car is as standard plus the following upgrades:

Peugeot Connect Media Navigation, Media HDD & Bluetooth
Black Brake Callipers
Black Front Grille
JBL Hi Fi Speakers
Vision Pack
Feline Quad Exhaust

I'm looking forward to sharing our RCZ moments with one another.

Here's a picture after detailing it myself today.

Nothing too spectacular. I'm thinking of having the front badge black along with tinting/fly eye the headlights and fogs. Was also thinking off making the rear badge and lettering black but after seeing the car in person I don't know if I would like it. Also, the chrome arches - maybe turn matte black? & of course getting the alloys refurbished and sprayed black. I love the stealth look. I did a similar thing to my old car, Ford Fiesta Zetec S.

Oh, the number plate will be transferred over soon too.

Finally, a fellow modder :p

Most of what you have suggested, I have done to mine.

Plastidip is probably your best bet for the badges :)

And nice looking Fez too! My brother has one :)

Thanks, I've still got it at the moment. Looking for a buyer...

Wow! Your car is stunning. Did you apply the Fly Eye yourself? I did on my Fez and I think I should get it done professionally on the RCZ. Yep, I was thinking Plasti Dip too - I've actually just taken delivery of a can, might try it on Monday. I have one VERY IMPORTANT question... Where did you get those sexy eyelids?!

Thanks :D Its in dire need of a good detail, its just finding the time :(

No, I got my friend to do it along with the wrapped arches. Hes does it on the side. Hes got a page on facebook called RM Wrapz.

I had a fair bit of difficulty getting my eyebrows lol. I got mine from the manufacturer in Germany, and had to translate all of our emails lol. But if you want some, all you need to do is talk to RCZ Performance :)

It's tough in the winter times because you don't get much useable day light. I started today at 9 and was finished at 3 but it was getting quite damp in the air so it was hard to keep the car dry and buff off the wax.

Sweet! Just had a look at the Facebook page - it's a shame he's so far away! 4 hours away from me. Tell him he's doing a good job with the prices too, cheaper than down here.

Oh right lol. I'll try and find RCZ Performance on here. If not, I can get him on the email from the website can't I?

Yeah, I like to take a whole day, but I have the added bonus of having a gravel driveway, so when thats wet, its a no no :(

Yeah, hes just over 2 hours from me, but was worth it as hes good, and it was good to catch up as I only see him probably every six months lol.

He shouldnt be too hard to find on here, he posts regularly, and he has his own section on the forum sponsor section :) But failing that, yes you can contact him through his website or facebook.

Awesome, they would do the job! Thanks for that :) Yes please do post a pic!

Before you wrapped your arches, how did you maintain them in chrome? Today, mine came up with all water spot type things, yet won't polish out :(

It was very difficult. I used autoglym metal polish, but that only lasted for about three days before the water marks came through.

Theres a thread on it in the detailing section, and Im sure RCZ1 has a few suggestions. Her car is spotless ;)

If you are really careful you could use your DA to remove the water marks on your roof arches. Use a finishing pad or similar and Dodo Micro Prime will do a great job.

Do you think that would be more sufficient than using a metal polish, such as Auto Glym Metal Polish?

I've not used the Autoglym polish but Donna, a member on here, had her Z professionally detailed and that's what they used on hers. She said they came up really good.

I didn't really get water marks on my chrome roof arches. I use a water filter for rinsing and a QD when drying. I just kept them well protected with Gtechniq C2 or C1.5 and that worked well.

Awesome. I think I will give it a go with the Autoglym Metal Polish first as I have some of that spare somewhere. But if that fails I will most certainly purchase the Dodo Micro Prime and use with my DA.

Thanks for your help, RCZ1 :D
