Hi ordered a car cover in October however it arrived a bit late . it was a good weekend up here so got cleaned and fitted

Good protection that Jim, where did you order the cover from? Was it expensive?

I had thought about one, but the ones I have seen were quite expensive, and as my OH pointed out, I probably wouldn't use it that much, so it would be a waste of money, but if I could find one a bit more reasonable, it might still be worth considering. :eusa-think:

The only thing to be very careful of with a cover is to ensure that the car is spotless before pulling the cover on it you run the risk of pulling dirt and grit across the paintwork and scratching it.

Yes, they say those covers are a deathtrap to paint... Flaps about in the wind and scratches the car like crazy!

Car Clayed and machine polished prior to cover going on cover came from Specialist covers straps tie it under the car also locking system on hem of the cover under the car it is waterproof breathable and fleece lined it was expensive £300 but hopefully will protect car from all the elements
