Which wax have you used out of interest? Have you also polished it - if so, what did you use?

That is just a meguiars spray wax. Will only last a few days in this weather but the weather is just too changeable to start on it right. I have a tub of collinite 476S which will be the main wax when I get a chance to clay the car! Roll on long summer days!

Hi Figo

Have you used the collinite 476 before? Just a word of caution, after many, many, many rave reviews of this wax I bought some and applied it to my bonnet on my last car......... it took me hours to buff off. It caked on hard and I found it a real pain to remove. So my word of warning is to apply it very, very thinly, so you can hardly see that you have applied it. Don't do it in full sun and don't leave it too long before buffing. This was just a wax that I personally did not get on with, but as I mentioned earlier, many many people swear by it (not literally.. )

thanks ill take that on board. I've worked it over on a Friends Zetec-S Fiesta in white and it came up very nicely so I bought it on that recomendation. Tbh I figure that with a white car id rather go for a really durable base wax and do the hard work less often then simply top it up with a tidy spray wax to add gloss prior to photo shoots ;)
