Had four new tyres fitted just before last weekend. Got a low pressure warning for one tyre on Sunday, so I assumed it hadn't been fully inflated and topped up the pressure. This morning I got the same thing and pressure was down to 23psi on offside rear.
Went back to tyre fitters and after inspection they say the valve is defective and it a simple coincidence (?) that it happened at the time they put new tyres on. They also say they can't replace it, as it is integral with the pressure sensor.
In the absence of evidence to prove it was damaged by the tyre fitters, I guess I am stuck with buying a replacement valve/sensor - or will it be covered on the warranty?
