This fault can be related to oil issues maybe try Oil change?

I had the same code recently so changed the oil and filter and its gone away, even though last oil change was less than 4k ago

I had this same issue an it turned out to be the vanos Solenoid was to blame it had come loose in its casing causing it intermittently to trigger the engine management light it’s a easy fix .

Thanks for your help guys, l took out the easy one at the front and cleaned it with air flow meter cleaner, made sure the piston was free then refit. Fingers crossed, seems ok so far
