If you think you know how fast and responsive this car is, sit with these guys for a couple of laps it will shock you!.. 70mph down the M1 seemed tame!!! oh and i recorded a 98! :wtf:

Thanks to Peugeot, Bedford Autodrome staff, Liz and the sunny weather. It was a brilliant afternoon and evening which I think was enjoyed by everyone including Gill (106 secs) and me (101 secs). By the way the RCZ-R is absolutely awesome.

Fantastic day. The RCZ R was incredible on the hot laps, left me wondering why you'd ever need or want anything quicker round the bends. I managed 96.37 on my laps though I actually gave myself pretty bad motion sickness in the process! My second flying lap was filled with visions of an impending moist helmet! I'm guessing my laps were less than tidy

I get my own (shared with San, the wife, of course) z on Monday (200GT) and I just hope the R version hasn't spoiled me now.

Oh and hugely impressed by the latest esp systems, they don't feel draconian but do a brilliant job of preventing you killing yourself.

Thanks to all at Peugeot for organising this.

It was brilliant... A way better test than just a ten minute trip round the block! The power delivery is fast and smooth. It has great control on the limit and the gear changes are planted. It has definitely made me want one, but I now I'll never drive it like that again :lol:

I tell you what, we only did 5 laps, and I was exhausted. I dont know how people can do that for a living. I dont know if others will share their time, or if Liz will post them, but I did 99 seconds around the 1.8 mile track. Apparently a good lap is about a 90 seconds

Ok - so my team results as follows:

Si (my better half): 95.39
Dave: 98.03
Pete (speedy Gonzales) 102.26
Hans: 101.70
Me: 103.18
Gill (Hans wife): 107.08
Davina (for 2 as with child!!) : 116.55

I think I've got everyone in our group from the forum.....if I've missed anyone let me know!
Likewise, it was such an epic evening and as always it's really lovely to put names to faces, although I did keep asking you all what your aka on the forum was!!

Anyone got any other pictures? I'm going to put an album up on the RCZ FB page on Monday - and I'll link to it here too.

Sadly I only have the times for our group: group 3 ;-( I don't think I'll be able to get the times from the other groups now.

Thanks for all your comments - we thoroughly enjoyed the evening and the weather behaved too!!
