RCZ R 2015. Regularly serviced at a Peugot dealer until December 2019. Had a service and MOT just before Christmas at Kwik Fit. All good since then until last Friday.

Cleared the car of snow outside, got in, turned ignition and the fan heater not working (so had to hop in to partners car and do what we needed to until returning yesterday).
Hoped that all would be magically recovered, but no.

All lights are OK on the dash, Auto, AC, e.t.c.
When popping on front screen heater the fan does not start up as usual.
Turning the temp knobs brings no change of temperature.
There is no noise at all.
Have checked relevant fuses (plus some extras!) and none are blown.

What would you suggest is the next thing to look at please? Or is it a trip to the dealer for a diagnostic?

Thanks
Kat

Possible fan failure. I would have thought that if the fan was ok either the front demister switch or the blower control would have some effect.

Replacing the fan motor is not a 5 minute job so a trip to the garage may be necessary.

Are you sure you checked the fuse, It is probably in the engine compartment - F11 40 Amp (dependent on model)

Hi
Thanks for information, which confirms we did check the right fuse. Also checked F5.
Have got a diagnostic booked with Robins & Day, Manchester. Will see what they come up with and how much ££ pain it will be! First time had to do anything other than tyres though.
Will get them to reset the windscreen water-bottle sensor at the same time.
