Engine oil level low

I think they put different oil in when they did the 2 year service.
Why would it go a year with no warnings.
Nothing else has changed. I drive the same way and the mileage is no different.

If it's a thinner oil in now it might, just might, be that it's able to seep past the piston rings and be burnt away very gradually while the engine is running. That'd be my theory but whether that's going to account for it entirely or even in part would need someone with a deeper understanding or experience of the RCZ's engine. Yours is petrol? Might be worth poking on the Mini forums to see if they've had similar occurrences.
