engine fault needs repair warning

here we go anyone got any ideas of this seems a common problem on the 200 THP engine..after accelerating engine fault needs repair come on somtimes the power goes with it aswell , but it clears soon after , on diagnostic @ Peugeot they had to change The turbo solenoid valve , however after taking car fro drive the fault re appeared . I have seen comments on timing tension chain. but they have not mention that from the diagnostic , so the car is going back again on Monday!!!!! hope some one has an idea of what it cud be ? cheers for any help guys

Probably is the timing chain yes.

99% of anyone having problems with their RCZ engine you could almost bet all your cash on the timing chain or the temp sensor! It's always one or the other :lol:

Same about me, but it's very common on Citroen C5 with THP150 engine - and the engine are the same with RCZ. it comes nearer to 80-100k km milage.

lates update,,they say the fault is a blocked pipe , get part tomorrow , so is this to do with the AIr flow for intake . turbo. fuel mix ? any ideas hope they are right without car for 3rd day tomorrow

Ask them for a pic of the blocked part it might help someone else on here.

This would however explain your problem perfectly.

I will find out hope to get it back today , so I guess it sounds like it has caused the problem? and find out what pipe is blocked aswell what is your take on a blocked pipe causing this cheers
