Engine Fan

Hi, new to having an RCZ so not sure if this is common to RCZ's but went for a 30 mile trip and when I got home the fan was running for about 30secs to a minute after I got out. Not had this on any car before and since its been bitterly cold not something I would have expected. No warning lights on dash and temp reading normal, just wondered if it could be something to do with this dreaded temperature sensor issue I keep hearing about?

just cooling down the turbo,

It's when the fans come on shortly after starting and the temp needle jumps around, then you have the dreaded sensor issue !!
