Hi, so i have a weird problem i guess, when i take off my oil cap the engine starts to run rough and when i take off the oil dipstick i hear some air coming off, its normal that you hear air when you take the oil disptick when the engine is running? Can anyone check this on their thp 200 just to make sure is normal?

I have the same issue, my one is THP200 petrol 204hp with 150000km and i had couple of boost leak issues with P0171 and P0172 errors, this cause the fan to run full blast regardless of the outside temperature or how hard i drove the car (this has been discussed in this forum before).

After fixing all the boost leaks and tested intake system to hold 13psi of pressure i drove for about 1hr for testing on mixed highway/city/various engine loads and all good + no more errors.
After arriving home and car cooled down i noticed the oil dipstick popped slightly out (1-1.5cm) and slight hint of smoke coming out, pushed it back in and then i removed the oil cap while the engine was running i guess to check if there is excessive smoke from the PCV system, once i removed i got a misfire and a puff of smoke from the oil hole, car got crazy and "engine fault repair needed" ABS unavailable" and random errors, switched OFF the car, put the cap back and started again and everything run normal again.

I suspect i have issue with the valve cover since it has a complex PCV system (diaphragm replaced 6months ago) and pipework inside and can be very problematic, i ordered new complete valve cover including all seals from Febi.
