Engine operating / driving just fine, but is throwing the following codes :


P000B

Camshaft position slow response back one bank one



P0015

Camshaft position over and over retarded bank one

anyone come across same and knows what it is ?

maybe replace solenoid 1st thing to do ?

P0008- Engine position system performance Bank 1
P0015-B-Camshaft position-Timing over retarded Bank 1 as stated above it may be the solenoid is failing?

if that don’t fix it when was the cam chain last done ?

Full engine rebuild not long completed, it had jumped timing chain and done quite a bit of damage internally but engine is now fully rebuild so did timing chain as it was re-built

Yes I had mine changed recently as it was stretched an the timing was way out but I still got the ecu light on a week later and it was the vanos sensor , it was loose in its own metal case so I glued it an it ran perfectly Until I got my new one turn up hope this may help in the short term
