Hi
I am new to the Forum, but wondered if anyone else had encountered this issue.
I have a 156 RCZ registered in December 2011, and bought by me in April. After 2 weeks i went to go to work on a Monday morning and couldn't get in the car. Neither Key would let me in. End result was that the car was recovered and sat in a Peugeot garage for 5 days whilst they awaited the delivery of a mysterious part which controls everything (apparently) - i am not very technical, but this sits behind the steering wheel and controls the electrics.
New part fitted i take my car home, 10 days later, in a supermarket car park, armed full of shopping the same thing happened. I waited an hour for the roadside assistance, who disconnected the battery, and it reset the fault. I took it home and it was fine for another few days then same issue.
I have no faith in the car's reliability and really need to get this sorted out, and am wondering if anyone has had similar issues and whether they were resolved?
