Today went to start the RCZ having not used it for a few days.... Car fired up as normal , first turn of key. Initial symptom was radio display not working, and then followed by Engine Fault Repair needed message on dash. EML light now on. The rear wing spoiler has also raised .

Car appears to be running other than these issues as if no issue, no rough idle , no untoward noises and everything apart from the above issues presents as normal. Runs and drives in the short drive around the block OK. Battery tested and showing 12.7v engine off .

Upon my return I scanned and the following have been logged
P0117 Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor signal short to earth
UO140 Can Network Fault in comms with BSI ECM
05FF Unexpected reinitialisation fault from the BSI
0023 No Comm with MFD UCU or telematics
P0561 Power on fault under voltage intermittent - Drivers Door Panel
0900 Drivers Mirror Sensor Inputs fault Short Circuit to earth
0023 Absence of comms with MFD or Telematics - Electropump Assembly

Given there were no previous codes logged ,warnings, what course of action would everyone suggest. After changing thermostat I had no codes logged .... I tried clearing DTCs but they dont seem to want to clear. should I try disconnecting battery and BSI reset procedure? replace 12v battery ? try charging it overnight ? or could there be anything else to check?

Put battery on a long charge, if you have a conditioner charger even better.
I would put the most of that down to a discharged battery. The 12.7 you measured is a sign that it probably will take a charge again as the alt pulled it back up.

Unplugged battery and had on charge overnight , needed the car so couldnt leave it charging longer....now reading 13.4v with engine off and 14.1 + with on. Tried clearing DTCs but didnt seem to want to clear, through trial and error have found that with maybe using my fault code reader??? i need to go into each and clear in an order... I needed to clear these two first ...

UO140 Can Network Fault in comms with BSI ECM
05FF Unexpected reinitialisation fault from the BSI

All cleared now and seems to be OK. When the issue occured the 12.7v reading I assumed suggested battery should have been OK, also there was no issue starting... Seems like the battery is root cause or primary suspect..... Will have to monitor, especially when I may leave it a few days. Maybe only recourse is to replace battery with new.

Yeah Battery is being Lazy if it persists with it continuing holding a decent charge then look at the Batter power control module aka BCM as they regulate charging/discharging & Voltage temperatures
