Economy mode

When I start the car up the comp flashes up “economy mode” is this normal, does it stay in economy mode just till the engine warms up or is there a way of changing it. Preferably to thrash mode or die young mode

Thrash mode.

It's a common occurrence so you might as well get used to it I'm afraid. It's the cars way of making sure there's always enough juice left to start it.

Might be worth getting the battery checked though if it's coming on all the time.

economy mode is not what you imagined, although a die young mode should exist!!

it is just a warning for the battery

probably you need a new one

Peugeot installed this "Economy Mode" system to protect the batteries power supply & also the ECU as this is energised 24/7 from the battery even when the Engine is off
